The electric chamber of an Industrial Ultrasonic Humidifier is built-in the casing of the unit. To exhaust the heat generated from the electric components such as transformer, there is a ventilation fan installed on the electric chamber (or on the casing of humidifier). Therefore, the electric components are opposed to ambient air.

This results in a potential risk of moisture damage to the eclectic components while users set up the humidifier in high moisture room, such as Cultivation Greenhouse. High moisture infiltrates into eclectic chamber fast because of the “open” electric chamber.

KAWASIMA designed dedicated supply air flange for the humidifier. This enable users place the humidifier outside the moist room, and supply mist into the room by connecting PVC duct to the humidifier.

To detect the indoor humidity level, we lead 10m signal wire from the humidifier. The other end of the wire connects to humidity sensor with enclosure.

Nevertheless, not all Industrial Ultrasonic Humidifier should be set up outdoor. General guideline:

  • Large open room such as supermarket, where humidity level is 70% around: Indoor arrangement
  • Small closed room such as cultivation greenhouse, where humidity level up to 80%: Outdoor arrangement
